I am Mrs. Richards and I will be your 2nd grade teacher this year! I received my Bachelor's Degree from East Carolina University. I am new to 2nd grade and to Polenta, and I can't wait to take on this new adventure! I live in Johnston County with my husband and two children, soon to be three! I love the beach, singing and dancing. I am looking forward to a great year in 2nd grade!

Updated School Nutrition Information for 2022-23
We hope that you and your student have already noticed some of the exciting new food and meal opportunities we are offering in our cafeterias this school year. Our new options will include more fresh produce, vegetarian options, and opportunities for students to customize their meal choice. These new offerings will be available at both breakfast and lunch.
