Welcome to 6th grade science! I am so excited to teach at Riverwood and to teach my favorite core subject, science. My robots are looking forward to meeting some new students. This year is going to be awesome!

    During break times, students should either take a screen break, get up and walk around, have a snack, have a bathroom break, or work on studying and completion of work assigned in Google Classrooms. Live sessions are every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. On Wednesday, there will be an independent lesson posted for students to complete and a live tutoring session at 10 am. There will be work for students every day in their Google Classroom whether there is a live session or not. Students should log into every Google Clasroom every day. Also, please make sure to complete the attendance form first thing each morning.

  • Innovative Programs Virtual Family Information Nights Scheduled

    Johnston County Public Schools invites students and their families to learn more about our interesting options for our middle and high school students during our Virtual Information Nights on January 28 and February 4, 2021. Participants will be able to visit the virtual spaces for each program and talk with program coordinators and students from 6:00-8:00 pm.

  • JCPS transitions to Plan B for all students

    The Johnston County Board of Education voted to return all Pre-K and EC-Self Contained students to Plan B, four days per week, beginning on Tuesday, Jan. 19. These students will participate in face-to-face instruction on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with Wednesday serving as a remote learning day. All other students in grades K-12 will remain on Plan C until Monday, Feb. 1.

    On December 8th 2020, the Johnston County School Board of Education voted to return to Plan C (Remote Learning), we would like to provide an update to parents and guardians of options to complete state-mandated End-of-Course (EOC) and Career/Technical Education Post Assessment testing.
