Hola! My name is Rebecca Johnson, and I am excited to be teaching Spanish at West Johnston this year. Spanish was my favorite class in high school and in 10^th grade, I went on a mission trip to Juarez, Mexico and knew from that point on that I wanted to learn as much about the language and culture as I could. I majored in Spanish at Michigan State University and studied abroad in Valencia, Spain. I have also traveled to Guatemala and Mexico. I earn my master’s degree in Teaching and Curriculum from Michigan State. I taught in Sampson County for 10 years and now I am proud to be a Wildcat. I enjoy traveling, baking, crafting and spending time with my husband and our mini zoo of 3 dogs and 4 cats.
