    I am currently the Computer and Network Engineering Teacher here at West Johnston High School. After a career as an IT Engineer, including Hardware and Software design, testing and support, I have transitioned into teaching with the intention of introducing students to the wide variety of opportunities in both IT and Vocational careers. Having been raised in a farming community and working for a few major IT corporations, I found that having a little common sense and technical knowledge can carry you a long way. In addition to technology, I emphasize the need for time management and the understanding of business principles. I round things off with many outdoor activities and spending time with my extended family and grandchildren. I enjoy staying current with technology and attempt to pass on my passion for learning new things.
