I am Mary Ann de Gracias Almento, I have been married for 13 years and a mother of two. I graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics from one of the prestigious Universities in my country-University of Cebu-Philippines. I have been teaching for 15 years (6 years in a private institution and 9 years in a public institution). This is my first year teaching here in Johnston County Public Schools, particularly in Smithfield Selma High School. 

Being new to the state, I am hoping that I can have a smooth transition.

To the parents, I am pleased and excited to have your child in my Math 4 Class this Academic Year and I look forward to getting to know you and your child better. Together, we will form a productive partnership to ensure your child achieves his or her highest potential and all of his or her learning goals. I am looking forward to a year filled with challenges and excitement.
