Miss Machai Smith

Hi! My name is Machai Smith and I am an alumna of Smithfield Selma Senior High School. I graduated from SSS in 2016 and went on to pursue a BA in History. I attended North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University from 2016-2020. Though education was not my primary choice, my devotion and love for SSS brought me back to encourage our youth to strive for better. I feel a personal connection to this school and the children that encompass our hallways. I wish to share my passion for history with the students of SSS to create mindful and open-minded individuals. In my free time, I enjoy reading and trying new food restaurants.
