Ms. Carolina Suarez Vargas
Hi there! I am a Colombian ESL teacher who holds a Bachelor's Degree in Modern Languages at Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnólogica de Colombia. I am a Specialist in Ethics and Pedagogy from Juan de Castellanos University. I have a Master's Degree in Neuropsychology and Education at a Spanish University, UNIR. Nowadays, I am a Doctorate Candidate in Education at the University of Mexico, UNADE. I have been a teacher for thirteen years now and worked as a public state teacher in Colombia, which has been one of the best experiences in my life.
Being a teacher has been my priority since I started to study at the university and I always do my best to help my students to succeed. As I love traveling and learning in multicultural contexts, I have had the opportunity to visit different places to work and take a variety of courses related to language teaching and research focused on language and inclusive education, which have given me so much background to enrich my teaching style and methodology. Besides, I have done some research projects and published some articles as the products of my work.
Finally, working at SSS has been an amazing opportunity to continue growing as an international teacher and teacher-researcher; I hope to keep learning from my colleagues and my students. Remember: "Practice Makes Perfect"
