Double Master's Degree in Education AIG certified

Mrs. Patelos

Greetings!

My name is Mrs. Patelos and I am your child's teacher this year! Welcome to my page!

I have been a teacher for 17 years. I went to St Francis College in New York City for my Bachelor's degree. Then I continued my way to Touro College, where I obtained a double Master's degree in Education. I began my journey as a teacher in the public school I went to when I was a child, in New York City. I was fortunate to work alongside my teachers!

After meeting my husband who was born and raised in North Carolina, I moved down here, leaving the big city behind. We have been married 14 years and have two beautiful girls, Christina (6) and Alexandra (3).  We love to travel as a family and make memories together!  Disney is our favorite place to visit!

Hearing such great things about Johnston County, I was so fortunate to be able to work in this great county! I have been working in Johnston County Schools for 13 years and have taught grades 2-5.

I love what I do every day. I am very dedicated to my work and my students and my main goal is to see them all succeed in their own ways. I am a big advocate of parent/teacher communication. It is so important to have that communication between us, throughout the whole year. Together we can help your child succeed in second grade.
