Ms. Qualkenbush
Hi students and families!
I am Ms. Qualkenbush (Ms. Q). This is my first year at Clayton High School. I previously taught Middle School and High School in Wake County. I am the Mom of 3 teenagers and 3 dogs. In my free time I enjoy traveling, reading a good book, exploring nature, and playing board games with my family. I currently teach Curriculum Assistance, as well as co-teach Foundations of Math 1 and Math 2. I have a strong love for all things Math and often work at Evening Academy to provide support in Math. In addition to all of that, I am the Student Government Advisor and provide Homebound teaching for students in that program.
Grading Policy: For Curriculum Assistance, there a minimal number of assignments. These are designed to re-enforce academic skills and close learning gaps that help students achieve success. All work for this class will be accepted until 2:15 pm on the last day of the grading period. Students will earn a grade of P or F for this course. If they have a grade of 60% or higher in the class, they will earn a grade of P. Students with a grade of 59% or below will earn a grade of F.
The best way to reach me is by email : ashleyqualkenbush@johnston.k12.nc.us
