Mrs. Marta Chaves
Welcome to the new school year!
My name is Marta Chaves. I'm from Costa Rica and I'm really excited about being the teacher of my fifth graders.
I'm a Participate Bilingual Teacher with a NC teaching license. I will be the fifth grade Dual Language teacher this year.
I am a self-oriented person, with leadership qualities, integrity, attention to detail, and goal-oriented.
I do have my goals and purposes that motivate me to keep going. I am very frugal with my time and love being a part of this experience.
I do have an English Teaching Bachelors Degree at the Fidelitas University and a Licenciate Degree in English as a Second Language. I'm currently studying to get my Masters Degree in TESOL and it's been an amazing opportunity to share my knowledge with my students.
My classroom will be a place with open doors in order to create a safe learning environment. Teaching has been my passion for almost 15 years.
I hope this year we can learn so many new things and be full of new experiences together.
