Ms. Francia Giraldo
My name is Francia Giraldo, I am from Colombia and this is my second year as the Dual Language teacher in kindergarten. I have a degree in modern languages (English and French) and an educational neuroscience certificate. In my country, I spent seven years teaching English and Spanish using the Montessori approach.
From my experience, I have learnt that one of the most important goals of learning and teaching is to give students the opportunity to learn through their social context and their interests. I have also learnt that there is no better methodology than to listen to your students, know who they are and learn from their experience.
