Hi! I am Taylor Beasley. I attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2012-2016. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I enjoy attending UNC football games, reading, and spending time with friends and family. I live in Dunn, NC with my husband and son. This is my fifth year of teaching at Benson Elementary, and my fourth year of teaching kindergarten!

  • Board of Education Meeting set for Dec. 8

    The December Johnston County Board of Education meeting will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 8 in the Evander Simpson Building in Smithfield. All the open session portions of the meeting and all announcements will be accessible to the public via the livestream available online at

  • Second Semester Choice Form

    Every JCPS parent was to fill ou the Second Semester Choice form to choose either the Virtual Program OR face-to-face instruction for each of their students by Monday, Nov. 30. If you were unable to fill out the form by Nov. 30 please contact your child's school for assistance. The form was to be filled out for ALL students in grades PreK-12.

  • Holiday Meal Kit Form

    We are offering a new opportunity for our families this winter break. Parents are invited to sign up to receive holiday meal kits that will be distributed from all of our high school sites. Each meal kit will include seven days of packaged breakfast and lunch meals per child.

  • Say Something App coming to JCPS Nov. 30th

    On Nov. 30, JCPS will launch Say Something, an anonymous reporting system that lets middle and high school students, parents, staff, and community members securely share safety concerns.
