Mrs. Leslie Barbour

Welcome to Kindergarten!!!

Hi! My name is Leslie Barbour and I am one of our schools' amazing kindergarten teachers!

I recently graduated in May of 2022 from Campbell University.  Before that, I taught Preschool for 19 years in Raleigh. I also did my student teaching at McGee's in a kindergarten class, which was an amazing experience.  I grew up in Knightdale, NC and currently live in the McGee's community with my husband Kelly and our dog Ellie Mae.  I love to run and as a family we enjoy going mountain and road biking.  

I have an amazing teacher assistant Michelle Kranz who is a wonderful asset to our classroom.  We both look forward to meeting our future kindergarten students and can not wait to teach them everything that we know.  I  hope to meet you on Thursday August 25, 2022 from 5-7 at our open house.  Please email me if you have any questions about our upcoming meeting lesliebarbour@johnston.k12.nc.us .  We look forward to meeting you soon!
