Kim Wern

My name is Kim Wern and I am excited to be a Polenta Puma!  I was raised in State College, Pennsylvania, where I received my degree in Elementary Education at IUP.  I then moved outside of Washington D.C and taught in Maryland while achieving my graduate degree in Reading at Towson University. I have taught kindergarten through fourth grade for the last 21 years.  My husband, Kenneth, is a middle school special education teacher and we have two daughters, Camden, who is 12 years old and Gwendolyn, who is 10 years old.  During my free time I like to read, swim, and go to hockey games with my family.
