Hello, I’m Mrs. Boyd  and this will be my 12th year of teaching and 1st year at Polenta. I am married and have 1 little boy that will be starting Kindergarten this year at Polenta. I also have 2 dogs, Lexi and Morgan! I enjoy reading, working out and going to the beach.  I am looking forward to working with you this year to make it a fun and successful year for your child.

    Johnston County Public Schools will hold it's annual Trades & Classified Job Fair on Saturday, June 24. The event will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Smithfield-Selma High School, 700 M Durwood Stephenson Pkwy, Smithfield, NC 27577.

  • Updated School Nutrition Information for 2022-23

    We hope that you and your student have already noticed some of the exciting new food and  meal opportunities we are offering in our cafeterias this school year. Our new options will include more fresh produce, vegetarian options, and opportunities for students to customize their meal choice. These new offerings will be available at both breakfast and lunch.
