Mrs. Amanda McLamb

My name is Amanda Dunn McLamb. I am from Benson, and have lived there my whole life. I attended South Johnston High School until 2018, when I began my journey of becoming a teacher at Campbell University. I graduated from Campbell in May of 2022 and was shortly hired by Meadow to teach 6th grade ELA! I am looking forward to working with my students this year to learn and grow together as we progress throughout the year.

Some fun facts to know about me are...

I recently got married- August 6, 2022. I love animals! I have three dogs, a 10 year old mutt named Lily, a 1.5 year old Aussiedoodle named Daisy, and a 16 year old Malti-poo named Twister who I have had since I was six years old. I also have two white ducks named Wiggles and Waddles, and 8 chickens. Throughout my life, I have also owned three guinea pigs. My favorite color is hot pink, and my favorite types of music are country (of any era), and music from the 70's/80's that I grew up listening to with my mom! :)

I look forward to a great school year!!!
