Katelyn Schroeder

Hello! This will be my first year teaching and my first year here at Riverwood Elementary. I had the opportunity to visit here several times during my student teaching experience and I am so excited to now be a part of this amazing community! 

I graduated from Barton College in May with a Bachelor's degree in Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. I have always loved working with kids and was able to truly find my passion for special education during my time at Barton. I am very excited about continuing my journey here!

I got married in October of 2021 and it is just the two of us and our fur baby Max. We live on a farm with my parents and our extended family of goats, cows, and chickens. In my free time, I love to read, cook, walk, and go to the beach. I can't wait to get to know you all here at Riverwood Elementary.
