Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Leann Cook
I am originally from Connecticut and I moved down to North Carolina to go to college. I went to Barton College in Wilson, NC for 4 years. I lived in Wilson for a while before I got the job here at Benson Elementary. My family and I then moved to Clayton and then Four Oaks. I have two boys: Mikey is 10 and is in 5th grade this year, and Aidan who is 6 is in 1st grade.
I love to teach! It has been my passion since I was in elementary school. I used to take my teacher's extra worksheets and play school at home! The 2021-2022 school year will be my 14th year teaching and my 10th at Benson Elementary.
