Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Julie Collins
Hi! My name is Mrs. Collins and I am going to be your first grade teacher.
This will be my 24th year teaching and my 10th year at BES!
I spent 18 years teaching kindergarten and the past 5 years in first grade.
I love teaching and watching little minds shape and mold into little readers,
writers, mathematicians and more!
I earned my Bachelor's Degree from UNC at Pembroke and
my Master's Degree from Grand Canyon University.
I am married with two children (ages 21 and 15) and 3 rescue dogs.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, crafting, going for long walks, traveling,
and spending time with family and friends. My goal is to create a fun and
safe learning environment for your children and get them ready for 2nd grade!
Thank you in advance for making this year a great one!
