Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Elizabeth J. Valle

Hello, Selma Railblazer Families!

The 2022-2023 school year will be my 15th year as an educator in Johnston County.  Besides AVID, I experience teaching ELA and SS for both grades 6 and 8.  Currently, I am the AVID Teacher and Coordinator for our school.  I am a class of 2004 graduate from SSS and a class of 2008 graduate from Campbell University.  My husband and I have three girls, 12, 8, and 3.  Besides teaching, I love traveling, learning about other cultures and helping students reach their maximum potential.

I look forward to a wonderful year at Selma Middle School.  Please contact me if you have any questions about AVID or if I can help in any way.

North Carolina schools are required to administer ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 to all students identified as English Learners (ELs) in the spring of each year to determine their progress in learning English. Each student is tested in four areas: Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. This assessment helps us monitor their English language development.
