I am a 3rd grade teacher here at Benson Elementary.  This is my second year in third grade and my third year teaching.  I grew up in Meadow and I graduated from South Johnston High School in 2009.  After graduation from high school, I went to Johnson Community College and graduated with an Associates of Arts Degree in 2012.  I then transferred to East Carolina University the following semester completing online classes.  I graduated from East Carolina University in December of 2015 with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in reading grades K-12.  In 2013, I married my "middle-school sweetheart".

Some of my favorite things are spending time with our 2 dogs (Carter & Butch), Camping, and Reading.

Favorite Season: Fall

If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to send me an email.  I check my email daily and should reply to your email within 24 hours.

I look forward to being your child's reading and social studies teacher this year!  I can't wait to see what this year holds!
