Susan Eisnor

Hello Parents & Students!  I am very excited to be working with the ESL students at Swift Creek Middle again this year! This is my 28th year as an educator and my 6th year as an ESL teacher in the USA. I am originally from Canada but I have lived in a number of countries over the years and I've been blessed to experience many different cultures & languages during this time. Professionally, I spent 12 years teaching Spanish at East Clayton Elementary, English as a Second Language for 9 years throughout Latin America, 3 years in the USA teaching English to learners of other languages, and my teaching career all started in the Canadian Arctic, teaching French to Eskimo children. As you can see, languages are definitely my thing!! Academically, I got my Bachelor of Arts degree in languages (majoring in French) from Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, Canada, my Bachelor's of Education from Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada and my Master's in International Education from Framingham State University in Framingham, Massachusetts. On the personal side, I am blessed with an awesome family : my husband of almost 30 years, my 3 beautiful children, Laura, Matthew & Isabel (and I can't forget our beloved cat, Snow).  I look forward to an amazing year - please let me know if I can be of assistance to you in anyway!
