Mrs. Stewart

Hello everyone! My name is Carly McLendon, but I am in the process of changing my last name to my married name, Stewart. This is my second year as a third grade teacher at Wilson Mills Elementary School! Go Mustangs! I have always had a passion and gift for working with children, especially those with different needs and minds. I consider myself very whimsical, out-of-the-box, but good at creating strong teacher/student relationships. I believe this makes it fun and easy for students to come to. I am a natural encourager and strive to do my best in all things I come across. I am a hard worker and believe in a strong reading/academic-based classroom. However, I do love a fun craft or two. The more freedom students have with their creativity and individual learning, the more successful they will be.
