Mr. Willie Barnette

Greetings,

My name is Willie Barnette and I serve as a 7th grade math teacher at North Johnston Middle School.  This is my 4th year as a full time teacher of middle school students.  I have taught 8th grade Science, 8th grade Social Studies, 7th grade Science, and 7th grade math.  This is my second year teaching at NJMS after spending two years teaching at the middle school level in Wayne County.  I spent some time teaching as an adjunct professor at Edgecombe Community College in the Paramedic program.  Prior to becoming a full time teacher I worked as a Paramedic for over 10 years with the majority of that time spent serving Wayne and Duplin Counties.  I look forward to serving this year's 7th grade students as their math teacher.

I graduated from James Kenan High School in 2005 followed by obtaining my Bachelor's degree in Occupational and Environmental Management with a concentration in Regulatory Compliance with a minor in Law.  I played baseball for Methodist and truly enjoy most sports.
