3rd Grade

Welcome to a new school year! I am so excited to have your child in my 3rd grade classroom this year, and I am blessed to be given the opportunity to guide your child through many wonderful and fascinating experiences over the next few months. I hope to share with your child my deep love and passion for education with the hope that your child will learn to share in that passion.

A few things about me:  I live in Four Oaks with my husband, John, and my daughter, Tori. I also have a son, Dalton, who has left the nest to start life as a young adult. In my downtime, I love spending time with my family and enjoy reading, watching movies, going to the gym, and shopping (much to my husband’s dismay).

This will be my 24th year in education. The first 14 years of my teaching career were spent teaching pre-K children, and the last 10 years have been spent in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. I can definitely say that 3rd and 4th are my favorites.
