Mrs. Kate Rizzo

Welcome to Mrs. Rizzo's third grade website!  This is my 14th year as an elementary educator.  I grew up in New Bern, NC and after attending UNCW for my undergraduate degree and ECU for my graduate degree, I began my teaching career at Cooper Elementary and have been here ever since!  I love this school!  I love our unique building, rich history, diverse culture, and dedicated and committed staff.  But what I love most are the amazing Cooper families I have met over the years!   I have experience in all elementary grades, and look forward to working with you and your child during one of the most exciting and challenging elementary grade levels!
