Greetings, my name is Gracie Gonzales. I earned my BA in Theatre Education (K-12) from Meredith College. I am eager to begin working with the students here at The Innovation Academy, so that I can help them develop their own passions, whether that be in the performing arts or another field. I am so grateful for the opportunity to become a part of your student’s learning journey, and hope to connect with you soon.   

I strive to create a safe & nurturing environment in my classroom that allows all students to make creative discoveries and share their art with a unified ensemble. I will guide my students to express and appreciate themselves as artists, as well as embracing the differences of others. I shall hold each student to high expectations, while realizing each student’s expectations should fit uniquely to their learning journey. I’ll believe in each of my student’s abilities, and help them discover their numerous strengths and talents. I will be open to learning from students, fellow teachers, and my community, all while absorbing new strategies and insights on how to maximize student growth. Ultimately, I hope to install an appreciation of art, discovery, and their own creative abilities in each of my students.
