Mrs. Lyons
Hello, I'm Mrs. Lyons and I am joining the 4th grade team this year! I have taught 2nd, 4th and 5th grade and have LOVED them all! I love watching children grasp concepts, grow in their self-confidence and enjoy learning! I have worked in school in some aspect since I was 18 and can't imagine doing anything else! I am so proud to be a Dragonfly!
I am a WNC native and enjoy any activity outdoors, especially in the mountains. Being in nature is my favorite place to be and science/social studies are my favorite subjects. I'm a huge advocate for hands-on learning and love to bring that to my classroom any time I am able. I live in Angier with my husband, two boys and our crazy pup, Scout. We spend our weekends outdoors hiking, camping, fishing, exploring.
