Mrs. Mackenzie Wishon

My name is Mackenzie Wishon and this is my 2nd year teaching at Four Oaks Elementary and my 3rd year in Education! I graduated from Appalachian State University in December 2019! GO APP!! I am married to my sweet husband, Corey, and I am currently trying to convince him to get a puppy! 

I could not be more excited about teaching your child this year in 2nd grade! I have taught 2nd grade for three years & I LOVE IT! Since I was 5 years old, I always knew that I wanted to be a teacherI love working and inspiring a love of learning in the minds of our future generations. In my classroom, I want every student to feel a sense of belonging and know that they are so loved! We will learn and grow so much this year, but we will also have a ton of fun! We are one big family in Mrs. Wishon's Classroom & I can't wait to see what this year has instore for us! Let's rock this year!

  • JCPS to implement state-of-the-art security systems

    At the November Regular Session Board of Education meeting, the Board voted unanimously to improve safety and security in Johnston County Public Schools by implementing state-of-the-art security systems in each of the district’s schools.

  • Updated School Nutrition Information for 2022-23

    We hope that you and your student have already noticed some of the exciting new food and  meal opportunities we are offering in our cafeterias this school year. Our new options will include more fresh produce, vegetarian options, and opportunities for students to customize their meal choice. These new offerings will be available at both breakfast and lunch.
