Mrs. Ana Rodríguez Araya
¡Hola a todos! My name is Ana Gabriela Rodríguez Araya. I am from Costa Rica, a small and beautiful country in Central America.
This is my second year teaching in the U.S. I am very happy to be at SSS as a Spanish teacher!
I have a licensure in English Teaching, and I have been a teacher for 12 years.
My goal this year is to share about my culture, learn more about the culture in the U.S, and help my students learn fall in love with Spanish, and try to help them understand about the importance of being able to communicate in more than one language.
This year I will be teaching Spanish 1, Spanish 2, and Spanish for Heritage Learners. With Heritage classes, we want to take the students who already speak Spanish to a higher level, and improve their skills so they can fully read, write, and speak Spanish.
My email address is anarodriguezaraya@johnston.k12.nc.us, in case you have any questions.
¡Mucho gusto!
