Welcome to Johnston County Virtual Academy!

We are excited to virtually open our doors to Johnston County families beginning in the 2021-22 school year. JCVA is a learning institution that offers a comprehensive home-based virtual learning experience for families who need flexibility, yet desire a rigorous educational environment. 

JCPS has partnered with EdOptions Academy to develop a K-12 virtual school that is rigorous, engaging, and built to both state and national standards.  All courses are taught online by highly qualified, state-certified teachers experienced in online instruction. With innovative technology, inspiring teachers, on-demand tutors, and a dynamic, interactive curriculum, students can learn at a pace that is right for them. 

JCVA is also a great fit for families currently homeschooling who would benefit from access to high-quality curriculum materials and software products purchased by JCPS, all free of charge.
