Mr. Christopher Lee Shaffer

Hello everyone, 

     My name is Christopher Shaffer. I am married and have two children.  I also have two dogs (German Shepherds) and three cats.   I graduated from Pine Forest Senior High School in 1997.  After that, I served four years in the U.S. Army with the 2nd Infantry Division. Upon leaving service, I continued my education and eventually completed my Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice at Fayetteville State University.  I then transfered to East Carolina University where I worked to complete the edTPA program for lateral entry teachers.  I began teaching at Benson Middle School in March of 2020.  I thoroughly enjoy teaching ELA and Social Studies.  It is truly an honor to have the opportunity to be a part of the growth of students.
