Learning Expectations and Commitment

  • Johnston County Virtual Academy requires a commitment of time and effort from accepted students and their parents/guardians.

With this commitment, I agree to keep my child in the program for at least one full school year. Additionally, I understand that if my child has special needs for services that are not offered by Johnston County Virtual Academy, it may be necessary for him/her to remain at the assigned home school in order to receive services.

Students who do not meet the expectations of the virtual academy may be required to return to in person learning.
