Mrs. Jeanie Aday

Hello Comets!

My name is Mrs. Aday and I teach history. I am new to Clayton High School, previously teaching eight years in middle school in Wake and Buncombe counties.

Little bit about me: I am from the mountains and I graduated from UNC-Asheville with a B.A. in History as a NC Teaching Fellow in 2013. I enjoy running, travelling, and watching true crime shows. My husband works in IT and we have a beautiful 40lb furbaby who we love to spoil.

National Boards Candidacy: I will be working on getting my National Boards Certification this year. This means if you are in my class, I may be filming periodically. I would love to get your permission to film! Please fill out this release form so I can send all my good footage to the National Boards grading team -- the film will only be seen by myself and by them, it will NOT be posted on anything online. If you do not give permission, I will position your seat away from the camera. I would love it though if you wouldn't mind since it'll be so helpful!

I am so excited to be here and I look forward to getting to know all of you!
