Hello Comets! My name is Mrs. Aday and I teach American I Honors and II Honors. This is my first year at Clayton High School, previously teaching in middle schools in Wake and Buncombe counties. I am from the mountains and I graduated from UNC-Asheville with a B.A. in History as a NC Teaching Fellow in 2013. I enjoy running, travelling, and watching true crime shows. My husband works in IT and we have a beautiful 40lb baby Bear who we love to spoil. I am so excited to be here and I am look forward to getting to know all of you!

    The Johnston County Board of Education voted to return Pre-K - 5th grade to Plan A, four days per week, beginning on Monday, March. 1.

  • JCPS transitions to Plan B for all students

    The Johnston County Board of Education voted to return all Pre-K and EC-Self Contained students to Plan B, four days per week, beginning on Tuesday, Jan. 19. These students will participate in face-to-face instruction on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with Wednesday serving as a remote learning day. All other students in grades K-12 will remain on Plan C until Monday, Feb. 1.
