The 2021-2022 school year will be the start of my first full year as a professional school counselor! I started my career here at Riverwood Middle in February 2021 after completing my internship in Pender county, NC. Prior to this, I had lived in Wilmington, NC for 12 years where I graduated from UNC-Wilmington with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and worked as a legal assistant for several years. In 2018, I entered the Masters of Education in School Counseling program at Salem College and recently graduated in August of 2021. I am thrilled to be apart of the JoCo community and to get the 2021-2022 school year off to a great start.
In my spare time I love to be outdoors, read, watch movies, spend time with friends and family and most importantly cuddle with my two cats, Maddie and Toby.
I am here to help you in anyway that I can, please don't hesitate to call, email or pop on by!
Our district is launching a new portion of our website to further communicate bus delays and replacements with our families. We encourage those who have a student who utilizes our transportation to get to or from school to visit www.johnston.k12.nc.us/busdelays for updates on our school bus routes beginning Tuesday, January 18.
The Johnston County Board of Education voted unanimously to approve the 2022 Johnston County Public Schools salary schedule at their regularly scheduled Dec. 14 meeting.
