After teaching 28 years in a neighboring county, in January 2021 I took a hop, skip, and a jump over to Johnston County to join the elite ranks of the Cleveland High School faculty as an 11th and 12th grade English teacher. What an honor it is to have been given an opportunity to teach some of the best students around, on a beautiful campus, among supportive colleagues, and under the direction of a great leadership team! Teaching has always been in my heart, and even after all these years in the classroom I truly still love what I do! 

I am originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and relocated to North Carolina in 1993. I currently reside in Goldsboro with my son, Nicholas, who attends Wayne Community College, and my daughter, Hannah, who is a junior at Princeton High School. 

I am very excited to be here at Cleveland, and look forward to growing into my new role as a member of the RamFam!
