BS in Forensic Science

Ms. Amber Ferguson

This is my fourth year at West Johnston and my third year teaching! I earned my Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Baltimore in 2014. I am currently enrolled at East Carolina University in their Educator Residency Program for my teaching certificate, specific to the Exceptional Children's Program in North Carolina. I am the proud mother of a three-year-old son who keeps me active! I am passionate about my job, and I love teaching students about math and helping them succeed in their high school career!

I am also the Director of the Food Pantry, located at the back of the school campus. In North Carolina, 1,245,870 people are facing hunger - and of them 394,300 are children. 1 in 8 people face hunger. 1 in 6 children face hunger. If you would like to know more about our program, please reach out to me via email!
