Ms. Leydi Parra
I was born and raised in Medellin, Colombia. I moved to the United States in 2011 and started teaching ESL in Johnston County Schools at Selma Elementary. I went back to Colombia in 2016 where I continued teaching EFL, and came back to Johnston County for the 2019-2020 school year. This is my second year teaching at Dixon Road and Benson Elementary. I love learning about other cultures and ways of living, and I love travelling, hiking, reading, and watching movies. I also love cats and dogs. My favorite color is black. I love teaching because I get to learn so many things!
