Ms. Alvner Strong
Hello! My name is Alvner F. Strong. I am currently serving grades k-2 here at Polenta Elementary School. It is so good to see all of you this year. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, music, Arts n’ crafts, travel, food, love sweets! , exercise, and health & Wellness coaching. I also enjoy cosplaying ( dressing up and going to comic cons). One of my most favorite characters that I enjoy dressing up as is Wonder Woman's sister Nubia Wonder Woman. I also sell health and wellness products. I graduated from West Johnston High School in 2005. I am both a UNC Pembroke and NC Central Alumni. I am so happy to be here and look forward to continuing to work with the students and getting to know them. Number 1 Favorite Color: Purple Favorite Animal: Tiger . I also like sea turtles and sloths. Favorite Insect: butterfly and ladybug. How to Pronounce my first name: Alvner [ Av-ner]. The L is silent. Updated School Nutrition Information for 2022-23
We hope that you and your student have already noticed some of the exciting new food and meal opportunities we are offering in our cafeterias this school year. Our new options will include more fresh produce, vegetarian options, and opportunities for students to customize their meal choice. These new offerings will be available at both breakfast and lunch.
