Amy Monsour

Hello and welcome back to another school year! I have been teaching for 20 years. I can hardly believe it myself! I am originally from Indiana, but moved here right after college.  I love the beaches and the mountains, and that is what drew me to this great state.  My passion is teaching students who need a little extra support. I love watching their confidence grow as they learn with me.  My favorite subject is reading, I read all the time when I was a child and my mission is to find SOMETHING that every child likes to read. It's a great way to relax and escape the world for a while.  I have twin girls starting middle school this year and a crazy 4 year old German Shepard named Skye.  Nowadays, I clear my head by taking nice long runs alone.  I love to run races as well and am pretty competitive! My kids play sports and I love watching NFL football.    I am excited and ready for a great school year.
