    Student Services at North Johnston High School is inviting 8th grade students and their families to a scheduled Zoom meeting on Thursday, April 15th at 6:00 pm to share information for rising ninth graders. The Zoom meeting code and passcode will be available at the NJHS website.

  • Change Form for Plan A Reopening

    In order to effectively prepare for the reopening on Plan A, a parent or guardian should complete this form to indicate a change in the placement for any student at the school. This form will ask parents to select whether they would like to make a change to their child's current instructional delivery, including a change from virtual to face to face instruction or face to face instruction to virtual. This form needs to be completed by Monday, March 29, 2021.     End of Year MAP testing will be held on the following dates: Tuesday 4/13 - Reading Thursday 4/15 - Math Please make sure your child is present for testing and is prepared to to their best work. These assessments provide important information for us as we finish out the school year and begin looking at placements for next school year.

  • JCPS to hold Virtual Job Fair April 21

    Johnston County Public Schools will hold a Virtual Job Fair on Wednesday, April 21. The event will be held in a Zoom Conference format from 2:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. Candidates will have the opportunity to meet with various school principals about career opportunities in each of the district’s 47 schools.

    The online application for the Johnston County Public Schools Preschool Program is now available. Parents who are interested in the JCPS Preschool Program are encouraged to apply early, as availability is on a first come, first served basis. The application window closes on June 30th.

    The Johnston County Board of Education voted to return Pre-K - 5th grade to Plan A, four days per week, beginning on Monday, March. 1.
