Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Kimberly Stevens
Hello. My name is Kimberly Stevens and I am originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I have lived in North Carolina for the past twenty-two years. While the Panthers are a perfectly good football team, I am and have always been a Steelers fan. I attended Slippery Rock University in Western PA and later continued my education at the University of South Carolina. Go Gamecocks! I will admit, I'm not a fan of hurricanes or the Hurricanes. I prefer Penguins!
I have a degree in Special Education, as well as teaching certificates in three states. I have been joyfully married for thirty-one years and have four wonderful children of my own and have added a beautiful daughter-in-law to our family. I continue to have a "fur" child and grandfur children. (One dog and two bunnies).
I have been a special education teacher for twenty-seven years. I feel I can claim a much longer time as I have been working with special populations since the age of twelve. Teaching special education is not my job, it is my calling. My goal for your children are for them to reach success even further than they thought possible and be prepared for life to be as independent as possible after graduation.

The summer information fair for our school will be held on August 1st from 1 PM to 7 PM at Corinth-Holders High School.
The Johnston County Board of Education will meet virtually to hold a special work session to discuss and vote on items for the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 budgets. The meeting and all announcements will be accessible to the public via the livestream available online.
Johnston County Public Schools will be moving to summer office hours on June 13. School and district offices will operate on a four-day work week. Offices will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays and 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Thursdays. The summer schedule will continue until August 11. All offices will be closed on July 4.
Johnston County Public Schools is always striving to provide students and families with exemplary service. In most cases, school bus transportation is essential for many students to access a quality education. In order to meet our daily goal, it is necessary to implement change that enhances and improves our overall operation. As we prepare for the 2022-2023 school year, JCPS Transportation Services and School Nutrition will be hosting a Summer Information Fair at each high school.
