Mrs. Tina W Penny

I will start my 14th year of teaching in January of 2023. I have taught 2 years in Wake county, two years in Wilson county and the rest in Johnston county. I am currently an OCS/inclusion teacher. I taught self-contained life skills in the past as well. I started my career as a Wildcat in 2009 and then came back in 2018. My oldest daughter graduated from West in 2016.

My passion is helping students achieve success in academics and self-growth.

My husband and I reside in Clayton. He is a Johnston county native. I am a transplant from eastern NC. Our oldest daughter still lives with us and our youngest lives outside the home. We are the proud parents of a dachshound, Crowley, who is seven.
