 Welcome back!
I am so excited that am starting my tenth year teaching! I love being at West J and look forward to an awesome year.
A little bit about myself. I have been in JoCo for 27 years and I am married to a wonderful Johnston County cowboy, David Penny. 
Our oldest daughter,Hannah is currently a student at UNC-Asheville majoring in art education. Sarah,our youngest currently works
as an EMT and is enrolled in the paramedic program at JCC. We also have a three dogs and a cat. Dogs:Bella, Blackjack,Crowley
I hold a BS in Religion with a minor in Anthropology and earned my teaching licensure from ECU.
Our day starts in the cafeteria for breakfast and putting chairs down for the cafe staff. We go to lunch at 10:15 am and end our day at 1:45pm.
Once we get past teaching procedures and routines we will have a comprehensive schedule to follow.
