Welcome students and parents to my Webpage!  

I am James D. Barnes and this will be my 2nd year teaching at Cleveland High School in the Career and Technical Education Department (CTE), this semester I will be teaching Microsoft Excel and Entrepreneurship I. 

I am looking forward to having an electrifying and impactful school year. In my class, students will learn some important and valuable skills that can be used beyond high school. I love to have fun while learning. I have owned my own business going on 13 years and look forward in sharing my experiences to teach my students about Entrepreneurship.  I will hold my students accountable and I will inspire them to challenge themselves!  All my assignments will be posted on google classroom therefore, students and parents will have access to material covered in class.  Please be sure to register on the Parent Portal for access to your child’s academic and school documents.   My class syllabus will be posted on each Google Classroom, and schedule posted on this site.  Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.  Thank you for the opportunity to teach your child.
