Ms. Ford

Hi there! My name is Ms. Casey Ford and I am so excited to be teaching 5th-grade this year! A little about me is that I am a recent graduate from East Carolina University where I obtained my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. During my senior internship, I was placed in a 4th-grade classroom and was blessed with the best clinical teacher. During that internship, I grew a love for teaching math and I am so excited to be teaching math to my own group of kiddos this year! After obtaining my degree from East Carolina I moved back home to Raleigh where I am currently living with my cat Finley. This year might look a little different than normal, but we are going to the make the best of the situation because we are #fantasticinfifth!

  • Updated Social Distancing Procedures

Information on social distancing in school settings has been recently updated by the NC Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS). Upon receiving information from the NCDHHS, we consulted with the Johnston County Public Health Department on the impact these updates will have on our school system. This ongoing collaboration continues to guide our decision-making as students return to classrooms for in-person instruction.
