Johnston County Cheerleading Championships

Cheerleading squads from all Johnston County Public Schools (JCPS) high schools competed in the 2025 Johnston County Cheerleading Championships at West Johnston High. Every varsity cheerleading team competed in the event, which consisted of two divisions: Non-tumble and Tumble, while junior varsity teams added exhibition performances.

In the Tumble Division, the Corinth Holders High cheerleaders finished first, and Cleveland High took second place. In the Non-tumble Division, South Johnston High placed first, while West Johnston High took second place. Junior varsity squads from West Johnston High and Clayton High also participated in exhibition performances. In the end, the Corinth Holders High took home the title of 2025 Grand Champions.

The event showcased the athleticism and skill of each JCPS high school cheer squad. These cheerleaders are in attendance at various athletic events, such as football and basketball games, getting the crowds pumped up and providing exciting entertainment.
