Mrs. Amy Kontir

After five years as an English Language Arts teacher at Archer Lodge Middle School, I am excited to be the Teaching and Learning Coach at Corinth Holders Elementary School starting August 2017.

Originally from New Jersey, my family moved to Clayton in 2012 after living in Philadelphia and Dallas.  My husband and I have three children, twin boys who will be juniors at Corinth Holders High School and a daughter who will begin college in the fall at the University of South Carolina. We love to travel and I'm working on stepping foot in each of the 50 states (12 to go!) and on each continent (3 left!).

Teaching is one of my many passions. I'm also an avid reader and language lover as well as yoga enthusiast.

  • Hopefully, you are rested, relaxed and ready to start the 2017-2018 school year!  I'm looking forward to a wonderful year!
