Hi Class, I hope everyone is excited about this school year.This is my seventh year teaching. I am the Girls's Basketball Coach and Softball coach. I am also the schools Athletic Director. Growing up, I attended Glendale-Kenly Elementary, North Johnston Middle, and North Johnston High School. After high school, I went to college at East Carolina University and graduated in December of 2013 with a B.S. in Physical Education (K-12).

Health and P.E. grades receive the same emphasis and value as grades in any other subject. Basis for grades are as follows (subjective and objective grading):
- a) Participation (exercising, playing, fitness test) 35%
- b) Dressing out 15%
- c) Tests 20%
- d) Classwork 10%
- e) Semester Project 20%

The NJMS Student Services Department strives to provide opportunities for our students to explore the many options that await them as they begin to plan for their future. On Monday, February 1st, our school counselors are hosting a Career Chat during JAG Time. Our guest speaker will be a representative with the Army Reserve. Please join us to learn more about this exciting career option!
Johnston County Public Schools invites students and their families to learn more about our interesting options for our middle and high school students during our Virtual Information Nights on January 28 and February 4, 2021. Participants will be able to visit the virtual spaces for each program and talk with program coordinators and students from 6:00-8:00 pm.
The Johnston County Board of Education voted to return all Pre-K and EC-Self Contained students to Plan B, four days per week, beginning on Tuesday, Jan. 19. These students will participate in face-to-face instruction on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with Wednesday serving as a remote learning day. All other students in grades K-12 will remain on Plan C until Monday, Feb. 1.
On December 8th 2020, the Johnston County School Board of Education voted to return to Plan C (Remote Learning), we would like to provide an update to parents and guardians of options to complete state-mandated End-of-Course (EOC) and Career/Technical Education Post Assessment testing.
