Mrs. Hannah White VanHalen

My name is Hannah White VanHalen and I was born and raised in rural Johnston County. After graduating college I returned home and purchased family farmland where I presently reside with my three boys. I graduated with a Bachelor's in Sociology from The University of North Carolina at Pembroke before attending East Carolina University where I completed my teaching license. I have been an employee for Johnston County Public Schools for the last six years. I am thrilled to be a member of the Choice Plus team and I look forward to meeting and working with each of you.

  • Updated Social Distancing Procedures

Information on social distancing in school settings has been recently updated by the NC Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS). Upon receiving information from the NCDHHS, we consulted with the Johnston County Public Health Department on the impact these updates will have on our school system. This ongoing collaboration continues to guide our decision-making as students return to classrooms for in-person instruction.
