Mrs. Kimberly Williams

Hello!! I am very excited to be a part of the Clayton Middle School family.  I am new to North Carolina this year.  My husband and I have lived in Georgia for so very long, but his job brought us to this beautiful state.  We always agreed that if we were to live anywhere outside of GA it would be here.  Together my husband and I have 6 children...we are the Brady Bunch essentially. He has three boys, and I have two girls and a boy.  They range in age from 17-27.  My husband has been such a great supporter of me.  He encouraged me to complete my education degree from Kennesaw State University in 2014 and to continue with my master's degree and specialist degrees from Piedmont College in Demorest, GA.

My husband and I have two dogs currently.  We have a chunky English Bulldog named Gracie who we have had for about 7 years.  She is a rescue and is truly something else.  Our other fur baby is a mini-Dachshund named Max.  He is two and is the cutest little thing ever.  He is fiesty and Gracie tolerates him.  :)

I love teaching middle-grade students.  I love that they challenge me as much as I hope that I challenge them.  Math and ELA are my passions which is a strange combination for a teacher to have, but I love the complexities of math and words.  I can get lost in both.  If nothing else I hope that my students can leave my class with more appreciation for the content than they had at the beginning of the year.  I also hope to encourage students to become a better them by being better than they were the day before.  Thank you for the opportunity to be a small part of your student's school career; I fully believe that when you and I support one another your student comes out on top.
